Other vintage hat stores like The Village Hat Shop have warehouses full of replicated hat styles but at Puttin’ on the Ritz, each hat is authentic and original to its time.

How did we get a hold of such a swell bunch of hats you ask? We’ve been in the biz for over eighty years and our manufacturing studio still uses the same templates that our original designers created back in the day. Our studios don’t use automated machines to produce hats either. Each one of our designers creates the hats by hand.

Check out our limited edition “frame a friend” retail tags that come with each purchase at Puttin’ on the Ritz. Don’t know if a style is right for you? Let a friend try it on you for size by holding the tag out and looking through the window to see the hat atop your head. Not your style? You can use the “frame a friend” tag to try on any hat without having to worry about getting hat hair!
